Laundry Facilities
Provided to make owners and guests lives a little easier and help to keep your packing to a minimum. For your convenience, coin-operated washers and dryers are provided for your use. Laundry detergent may be purchased next door in the General Store.
Tom Sawyer Fishing Pond
Tom Sawyer Pond is is a mini lake of over one acre located between the cabin and RV hook up areas right here on the Ranch. It lies in a tranquil setting and offers owners a chance to try their hand at fishing without having to leave the main recreation area. It is stocked seasonally with trout and contains bass, catfish and perch as well. The pond is surrounded with benches to sit on while you enjoy the ambiance, as well as a cleaning station for your catch and even a place to cook and enjoy the fruits of your labors.This is the site of fishing derbies and many happy memories for anglers of all ages. If you have ever had the chance to witness someone catching their first fish, especially a youngster, it’s something not to miss, let alone something to let them miss out on. You can relax and picnic next to Tom Sawyer Pond and after sunset it’s an ideal spot to star gaze and watch for meteors and satellites.
Sports Field
Hard or soft ball, football or soccer, volleyball, playground, and horse shoe pits, this is the spot to get in some team exercise. Get a few of the other owners together and see if you can get a game going or if you're in the mood for a challenge, take on the ranch employees in a friendly game OR…Just kick back and relax! Need to wind down from the everyday stress that we all feel in our daily lives? At R-Wild Horse Ranch you have the choice of being social or enjoying your solitude. Join in at the dance or other activities and enjoy the other owners, or just sit by the pool and read a book. Take off on a trail or enjoy the solitude of a sunset with your favorite horse. It’s your choice!
